IKEA Storm + powerRGB = G R E A T
Here you can see my IKEA Storm Lamp Mod using the powerRGB circuit and the tinyRGB firmware.

- Assemble the lamp but leave the paper shield down
- Remove the contacts from the bulb’s holder:

- Solder some power supply cables to the PCB and pull them though the mounting down to the lamps base and put the PCB into the holder:
- So thats it. Now reassemble the lamp with shield and connect a propper power supply to the board.
- The most important step: Re-Design the Box:
- Here some Images under Day-Light conditions:
- And when darkening the room:
- Enjoy your FÄRGRANN

Hi,
the lamps creates color by changing permanently the Red, Green and Blue Component so more than 7 colors are created. You can find the circuit here: http://tobiscorner.floery.net/projects/avr/tinyrgb/powerrgb/70
